Terms of Service
Effective starting from 1st of November 2024
Introduction
Products sold in this online store are sold by Shelby Oy, Business ID (y-tunnus) 2008279-5. We sell products to (legally adult) private customers as well as companies, communities, municipalities and states. The prices of the products include the Value Added Tax (VAT, or in Finnish ALV) unless mentioned otherwise. We reserve the right to change the Terms of Service at any time. Customers must agree to the latest revision of the Terms of Service before purchasing from our store.
Ordering and Order Confirmation
The products are mainly ordered through our online store at www.shelbyoutdoor.com. To make a purchase, add items to the shopping cart, fill in your shipping details and pay for the items at an online checkout. You can set up an online account to view your order history and save your shipping details for faster checkouts.
After making a purchase, you are sent an order confirmation email, which includes the total cost of the items, the shipping costs and the ordered items. The order confirmation email is sent to the email provided in the shipping details. Ensure your email provider does not block emails from our email server, i.e email addresses ending with @shelby.fi.
When placing an order, you are asked to accept the Terms of Service valid at the time of purchase.
Shelby Oy complies with the consumer privacy rights under Finnish law. All customer information is handled following best practices to protect data security and privacy. The customer information gathered by the online shop is only used for the processing of the orders. Your contact information is not used in marketing purposes without your permission or disclosed to third parties.
Payment Methods
Products and their shipping costs are paid when the purchase is made. Available payment methods include Finnish online banks, credit cards and mobile payments. Companies, communities, municipalities and states may also pay with pre-invoice or invoice as separately agreed.
Payment Service Provider
Paytrail Oy (Business ID 2122839-7) is acting as the Payment service provider in cooperation with the Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oy will be stated as the payment receiver on your account statements or card invoice, and Paytrail Oy will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oy is an officially licensed payment institution.

Delivery Time
We ship our products on every working day. The items will be sent soon after we receive your order and payment. Payments processed by Paytrail Oy’s payment service are immediately transferred to us and the order is waiting for being collected and shipped. When the payment is by invoice, it can take 1–3 working days for us to receive the payment confirmation after it has been paid. Most of the orders paid by credit cards and online banks are shipped out on the same day as we receive the order and approximately 90% of the orders will be shipped out latest on the next working day. If we can not ship your order within 3 working days we will always contact you by email.
Longer than usual delivery times will be announced on our website.
Delivery Method and Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are presented in the checkout given that a destination country is selected. This cost includes collection, packaging and shipping costs. Orders will be delivered as a parcel or a letter depending on the size of the order and your preferences. You will get the shipment tracking information by email once the order is ready to be shipped. Note: Letters do not have a tracking number unless mentioned otherwise. Please note that we reuse packaging materials so you may get your shipment in a box that has already circulated the globe.
International Orders
We will ship orders to most countries around the world. All eligible countries are presented in the checkout. Available shipping methods and prices will update based on products in the shopping cart.
All of the prices in our online store include VAT. For businesses inside of the European Union (EU) but outside of Finland: include your value added tax identification (VAT-ID) number in your customer information and VAT will automatically be subtracted from the final price. For customers outside of the EU: when you select a delivery address outside of the EU, VAT will automatically be subtracted from your order. Non-EU customers are responsible for customs and taxes associated with the destination country.
Shipping Issues and Product Defects
If the package is lost or damaged in transit, or you have received a wrong product, you must notify us of the defect immediately. This can be done by email info@shelby.fi or by telephone +358 44 016 6976. Damage to goods during transportation must also be reported to the carrier.
Exchanges and Returns
The customer has a 14 day return and exchange policy as of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. Products cut to measure, tailored products, and PDF patterns, can not be returned unless there has been a mistake in the delivery on our part. The return policy only applies to products in their original packaging, which are unused and still marketable. We refund shipping costs only with accepted reclamation cases.

If you do not pick up the parcel, it is not considered as a customer return (customer protection law 5th chapter 25§) but it's considered as a breach of contract. Thus we have the right to claim for our expenses (customer protection law 5th chapter 28§). For non-accepted returning shipments we will invoice shipping and return costs and for the costs of invoicing.
Pricing Errors
Shelby Oy reserves the right to cancel an order in case we have made an obvious error in pricing. In these cases, the price declared for the item differs significantly from the general price level of the same item, for example the price is set at 0,00 € or is otherwise abnormally low for the item.
Warranty
Unless otherwise specified, no warranty is included in any of the products sold. If a product has warranty then it will be specified in the products information. Consumer protection protects the customer against material and manufacturing defects.
