Colltex Ski Skin Hotmelt Adhesive 75ml

Important note: Apply the adhesive in several steps. Squeeze about 40 cm of adhesive out of the tube and evenly spread it with a spatula over the entire width of the skin immediately. Repeat this step until the entire adhering surface of the skin is covered with adhesive. Allow to dry for 6 to 10 hours before covering with the protective foil.

Note: different types and brands of climbing skin glue don't necessarily work or mix well together. Remember to test and if needed remove old glue before applying a different kind of glue.

Please note! This product is not suitable for Colltex CT40 skins. CT40 skins need their own adhesive.

Use the “hotmelt adhesive” from the tube for partial or complete renewal of the hotmelt adhesive layer. Apply it at room temperature. Fix the ski skin to a table and clean it as well as possible. The best way to do so is with a soldering iron with spatula. Press the hotmelt adhesive directly from the tube onto the ski skin and distribute it regularly over the entire adhesive layer using a spatula. Tip: distribution is best achieved with a roller. Allow the adhesive to dry for at least 6-8 hours. Protect the new hotmelt adhesive layer with protective netting and stow the ski skin in the bag intended for this purpose.
