Schmetz Black Super Fine Machine Needles 60/8

Black Super Fine needles have a non-stick coating, reinforced blade and a larger than standard needle eye. The extra-large eye allows using thicker threads than with other needles of the same size.

Black Super Fine needle in size 60/8 can be used with Rasant #75 thread. This makes it particularly suited for sewing thin siliconized fabrics that cannot be seam taped. Rasant thread swells when getting wet and helps to fill the needle holes.

Black Super Fine needles share the same characteristics as Black Super Universal needles but are available in different sizes. Thus they are an excellent choice when sewing thin coated materials and self-adhesive backed fabrics with thick thread. They can also be used as a replacement for Universal needles when sewing thin delicate fabrics such as viscose, silk, taffeta and organza.
