YKK Zip Tech Zipper Lubricant for waterproof zippers

Silicone lubricant for sturdy waterproof zippers. Especially suitable for YKK Aquaseal, Flexseal ja Proseal waterproof zippers.

Directions

• Clean zipper, removing sand, dirt and other debris.
• Open zipper.
• Aquaseal and Flexseal: Apply a thin layer of lubricant to the front and back surfaces of the top stop seal adjoining teeth. Do not directly apply the lubricant on the zipper’s elements.
• Proseal: Apply thin layer of lubricant to the outer teeth of the zipper and inside top seal.
• Wipe away excess lubricant.

We do not recommend using any lubricant for any other zipper than for sturdy waterproof zippers intended for use in water (surface rescue and diving suits etc.) and for which manufacturer has separately guided to use lubricant. Lubricant collects dust and sand which cause detorriation of the zipper. For regular zippers keeping zippers clean (wash and brush when dry) and by replacing worn out sliders keep zippers running way better than with any lubricant. Quantity: 4.8 grams
