Schmetz Overlock/Serger Needle ELx705 CF SUK, 90/14

Compared to other machine needles, the ELx705 needles have a second thread groove on the back side of the needle blade that supports formation of chain stitches when using low thread tensions. Chrome finish (CF) makes the needles to last longer. Reinforced blade reduces needle deflection in high speeds.

These needles have a ball point (SUK) for sewing knit fabrics, including cotton, merino wool and synthetic tricots, jerseys and interlocks. The rounded tip slips between knit loops instead of puncturing through the fabric, causing less damage to the fabrics.

Needle system ELx705 CF that is compatible with sergers and coverstitch machines using the needle system ELx705, ELx705 CF, ELx705 CR or SY 2022.
