Way more sturdy than thin blind zippers used on dresses, so this works also very well on outdoor use also.
Consealed zipper is excellent option on anorak collar to avoid storm flap but still keeps most of the wind out. When used on pockets, you can use mesh pocket lining and don't have to worry wind blowing right trough your zipper.
