The Crux is the ultimate mega crash pad for soft landings and scary highballs, as its four-layered construction of open and closed-cell foam offers exceptional shock absorption. The outer material is strong ballistic nylon making a very robust and water-repellent shell, and the Edelrid foot mat keeps your shoe soles clean.
Despite its huge size (210 x 115 x 10 cm / 85.7 x 47 x 4 inches) the Crux is a light weight 8.4 kg, and its comfortable carrying system allows you to transport it to every boulder with ease. Of course, the Crux also doubles as a luxury sleeping mat after a hard day’s bouldering.
