Way more sturdy than thin blind zippers used on dresses, so this works also very well for outdoor use.
Concealed zipper is an excellent option on anorak collar to avoid storm flap but still keeps most of the wind out. When used on pockets, you can use mesh pocket lining and don't have to worry about wind blowing right through your zipper.
